Trust, built in — not bolted on.

Spendhood exists because giving in Nigeria has a trust problem. Every part of the platform is designed to make honesty the easiest path.

Only verified nonprofits.

Before any campaign goes live, we verify the nonprofit's CAC/RC registration and review the organization itself. Campaigns carry verification badges, so "who is behind this appeal" is never a mystery.

Receipts anyone can check.

Every donation produces a numbered receipt that anyone can verify on our public verification page — receipt number plus a one-time code. Proof of giving no longer means a screenshot.

Money goes where you sent it.

Donations settle directly into the organization's own account as they arrive — no platform wallets, no thresholds, no funds held hostage to a target. Organizations see a to-the-kobo ledger of every naira and every fee.

Your data, protected and yours.

Every organization's data lives in its own locked compartment — no organization can ever see another's donors or records. Sensitive information such as payment credentials is encrypted. Accounts support two-factor authentication, access is limited by role, and every sensitive action is written to an audit trail. Donors can export their data in one click or request deletion, handled within Nigeria's data-protection timelines.

Compliance, not paperwork panic.

We help organizations stay on the right side of SCUML and the NDPA: statuses tracked, report deadlines flagged and prepared, data-subject requests run against a 30-day clock, and breach response aligned with the regulator's 72-hour expectation.
